To Prevent Getting Hemorrhoids

1. Take a bath everyday.
Taking a bath is extremely effective for preventing hemorrhoids because it stimulates the flow of the blood in the anus and also because it keeps it clean.
2. Keep your bottom clean
Some of the feces will remain after defecation if you only wipe it with toilet paper. The area around the anus of people with delicate skin will break out in a rash(eczema) just by this, causing pain and itchiness. It is ideal if you wash or wipe with wet tissue paper after defecation.
3. Try to avoid constipation
Hard feces causes hemorrhoids and anal fissure. Take a lot of dietary fiber, regular meals, a good amount of exercise so you can have loose feces with a shape( the hardness of a toothpaste is ideal).
4. Try to avoid diarrhea
Feces when having diarrhea enters deep inside the anal crypt and causes bacteria infection, a cause of anal fistula.
5. Do not strain yourself too hard to defecate
Straining for too long causes engorgement and bleeding which causes hemorrhoids. Stop straining too hard to get everything out.
6. Do not allow your bottom to cool
Cooling your bottom will deteriorate the flow of blood around the anus, and is said to cause acute phase of hemorrhoids which make a thrombosis in hemorrhoids that swells up and hurts.
7. Do not stay in the same posture for too long
Standing or sitting in the same posture for a while causes engorge ment in the anus which induces hemorrhoids. Make the blood in the anus flow more smoothly by taking an occasional walk, etc.
8. Try to avoid long drives
It causes engorgement in the anus that induces hemorrhoids. There is a report that hemorrhoids are often suffered by professional drivers. Remember to take occasional breaks.
9. Do not consume too much alcohol or irritating food
Alcohol makes the blood flow in the peripheral vessels which conduces bleeding form hemorrhoids. Irritating food like pepper and mustard mix into the feces when they come out of the body, therefore causing pain and swelling of hemorrhoids.
10. Consult a doctor and get a correct diagnosis
There have been patients who were too embarrassed to consult a doctor and made a self-diagnosis, or spent unnecessary amounts of money for medication, or in some cases, who did not recognize the symptoms for cancer and found out about it too late. Please consult with a medical specialist.
