Sliding Skin Graft

An anal fissure accompanied by an anal polyp can be seen at the back of the anus( the upper part in the picture). Because anal stenosis is complicated in this case, only about a half of what is normally opened can be opened. Therefore, sliding skin graft, to widen the anus, is selected alongside the surgery for anal fissure.
Add an incision to the anal fissure while widening the anus. Widen the anus with a retractor so there will be enough pressure on the sphincter muscule and cut little by little.
Cut off the anal polyp and the sentinel tag, and incise the internal sphincter muscle until you have enough space.
Use minofilament absorbable suture to sew together the edges of the mucosa and the skin.
Add an incision on the skin about 1 cm away from the part sewn tog ether and remove it into the anus, because leaving it that way will add pressure on the sewn part.
The cut inside the anus will be covered by the removed skin graft , a drainage wound will remain outside the anus, preventing pain after surgery.
