Arakawa's anoscope The anoscope that we cherish. After inserting it, still shut(like the left one in the picture), inside the anus, you clip the handle and the two shells will open (right) so that you can make a quick observation through the space between the two shells.This anoscopeis extremely useful, enabling one to observe hemorrhoids that prolapsed.

Romanoscope "I am worried about rectum cancer." After 40, polyp and cancer starts to bother you. A finger examination goes only about as far as 7cm (8.5cm with me) deep. The romanoscope is extremely useful for making quick examinations of parts deeper than that.Have the patient take the knee-chest position. Insert the tube from the anus, and observe as deep as 20cm. You will need a barium enema or an colonoscopy to examine any deeper.
