| There is a possibility that you will suffer greatly
if you choose this method. For over 30 years, necrotherapy has been known
as the treatment that can decay and take out the hemorrhoids with just
one shot. There were even doctors who started practice with only shots
available, no surgeries. Surgery at the time was done in a very different
way from what it is now, and many patients suffered with much pain even
after surgery. The pitch " a shot doesn't hurt as much as having a
cut, and no need of hospitalization" was very attractive in those
days. Many patients were cured with this method successfully, but when it went wrong, it caused a disaster. Since it works by injecting a poisonous injection into the hemorrhoids to kill it, the hemorrhoids can be taken out without pain when the injection remains within the internal hemorrhoids. But once the injection spreads around the hemorrhoids, it also kills the tissues which were functioning regularly. There are nerves around there, so if the external hemorrhoids or the skin around the anus corrodes, acute pain is felt; and in the recovering procedure the tissues around the anus will become hard like a scar and will impair the functions of the anus. |

The area surrounding the anus of this patient has corroded
all around; therefore, in the recovering procedure, the anus contracted
and caused anal stenosis , and it was even impossible to insert the little
finger for an examination. No feces of size could get through, so a lot

| Necrotherapy is still done,although very seldom in Japan. Even when evaluating the fact that it does not require hospitalization to the fullest merit, I neither intend to perform it or have it done for myself in such an occasion. There are of course differences in values, so I will leave the decision up to you. |
